Add Beauty To Your Space With Decorative Mirrors
Okay let us just pretend I haven't been away for almost a month and move on like nothing happened *side eyes*
I usually get this kind of stare anytime someone asks in what way they can improve the beauty of their space and i suggest mirrors. I then have to bring out pictures to aid in my convincing *whew*.
Then the ohs and the ahs start pouring in.

Do It Yourself - How To Install Wallpapers
Installing wallpapers is not as difficult as it looks, it is quite fun. i remember then in school when we use starch to install wallpapers in the hostel and it always did come out beautiful.
This is a step to step guide on how to install wallpapers in your homes, offices or shops.
This is a step to step guide on how to install wallpapers in your homes, offices or shops.
Step 1
Spackle and sandpaper the wall to smooth any imperfections (imperfections are more visible through wallpaper than paint) , then apply a coat of wallpaper primer. While it dries, cover a long worktable or the floor with a clean plastic painter's tarp (this is basically to protect the floor from glues and grease and to give you a clean surface to spread out the wallpaper). Make sure your hands are clean, too.![]() |

Step 2
If you're papering a whole wall, cut vertical strips 4 inches longer than the wall height; once the paper is up, you'll trim the excess. Arrange wallpaper strips side by side on the floor to ensure that the pattern lines up correctly, gently taping them together with painter's tape to temporarily secure them. If you're making a shape (as with the headboard or sconce backing plates), cut it out on a cutting mat with a utility knife.Step 3
Use a tape measure and a pencil to mark where on the wall the paper will be placed. For example, mark the top edge of a chair rail or sides of a rectangle.Saturday, January 10, 2015
Top 5 Vendors You shouldn't Compromise On
Well I noticed I have been talking mainly on interiors (how unfair), I mean this is both an interior and events blog right? hehehe!
This is just my personal opinion on who is more important to the other, so feel free to differ :)
5. M.C ( Master of Ceremony)
MCs are important o walahi, a boring event is catastrophic, imagine your M.C giving a joke and instead of your guests laughing they are looking at you and silently asking you whadahell?! I personally do not wish anyone a dry and boring MC for their event.
MCs bring life to an event, no event can be perfect but an MC can give that impression, truly. Your guests would forget if the food was bad tasting or if the the cake looks horrible and just keep smiling away even after the event is over.

All you lovers of red, get in here! Pantone has chosen the color of the year and it is Marsala. Last year 2014 color of the year was Radiant Orchid.
Marsala is a robust and earthy wine red color- Pantone.
It is also a deep red wine and burgundy - esque color, muted scarlet, dark, warm and relaxed color.
It combines well with bright colors and should also be used where there is adequate natural light.

Ideas to Incorporate in Kitchen designs
Hello lovelies Happy New Year.
Kitchen is the most functional space in a home (for me sha o) so many things go down in a kitchen minus cooking. Hehehe! Over the years different ideas and innovations have been instituted into the kitchen space including the kitchen island (we would talk about it in the future posts) and the 'lazy susan' amongst other things.
Spice Rack Cabinet
Spice containers can occupy space in the cabinet sha, the worse/annoying part is when you have to keep standing it when it falls while you try to pick something else. So annoying ehn. Anyways so this is a spice rack cabinet which can be incorporated into the cabinet in your kitchen and it keeps your spices containers arranged once and always. Amazeballs right? *wink wink*

Design Inspiration; Blue and Grey Themed Living Room
Ohk so while i was in Warri over the weekend, i went visiting. Carried myself to my very good friends' house.
Coincidentally, they were in the process of remodeling and behold an interior designer comes visiting, who wldnt make use of the opportunity. hehehe. So the questions began.
They already had GREY walls and wanted to change it but I advised them not to because they have toddlers and a fairly dark wall like grey would hide most of the 'yama yama' their kids might write/rub on the wall and also it would save cost on repainting (who wouldn't want that?)
So the main question was asked, 'what do we combine with grey'? Its fairly easy, grey is a combo of neutral colors black and white so it would go with any color of choice. Their fave color is BLUE so here we go.....
